The flexible adhesive magnetic tape 3M 1317 with liner can be easily bent, twisted, stretched, and cut without losing magnetic flux. The tape conforms to the shape of the surface and does not crack. The adhesive side of the tape adheres very well to various materials, including wood, metal, and even low surface energy plastics (e.g. polypropylene). This tape is highly resistant to weather conditions and low temperatures. It is moderately resistant to acids. Examples of use: magnetic shielding of instruments, minor adjustments of magnetic fields, holding advertising boards, exhibits, photographs, or covers on walls and vehicles; the non-adhesive side can be used to hold small objects made of ferromagnetic metals.
