The double-sided adhesive tape 3M 9086 with modified acrylic adhesive has high initial tack and very good resistance to external influences (except moisture due to the non-woven fabric carrier). It is suitable for bonding foams and textiles. It resists well to plasticizers released from plastics. Easily tears by hand. It is protected by a white paper liner with a black 3M logo. A very cost-effective material. The tape is designed for surfaces with high surface energy (HSE): unpainted metals, glass, wood, stone, ceramics, etc.; and medium surface energy (MSE): metals painted with non-baked paints, plastics except LSE, natural fabrics, etc.
