Product description

Fire-resistant building material

The PA6 CS20 FR V0 filament from Spectrum is based on the LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® KK 50056 BK FR material. The qualitative parameters of the filament have been fully tested and are certified by Lehmann&Voss&Co KG.

Filament Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 (manufactured based on LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® KK 50056 BK FR) is a new flame-retardant engineering material based on polyamide 6. The used ceramic fillers increase thermal stability without causing processing issues. Thanks to the use of a halogen-free flame retardant, a flammability class of UL-94 V0 is achieved on printed parts with a thickness of >0.4 mm. The spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 (manufactured with LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® KK 50056 BK FR) is also characterized by low moisture absorption, high temperature resistance, and good electrical insulation. A heated chamber is not necessary during printing, and there is no warping (shrinkage). The material is compatible with carrier materials HIPS and PVOH.

Components made from Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 material (manufactured from LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® KK 50056 BK FR material) allow operation at elevated temperatures up to 120 °C long-term (20,000 h) and up to 160 °C short-term (max. 200 h).

The material from which the Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 filament is made (manufactured from LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® KK 50056 BK FR) complies with the EN 45545 standard in the railway industry.

From a technical standpoint, the highly attractive properties of Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 felt (manufactured from LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® KK 50056 BK FR) can be achieved by adhering to the basic storage rules for this type of material (in a dry and dark place with humidity below 15%).

To achieve the best performance of the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material before starting work.

Note: Due to the significant filling of the material with ceramic microspheres, it is recommended to use nozzles with a diameter larger than the standard 0.4 mm. In addition, the presence of ceramic microspheres can cause degradation of standard brass nozzles, so for long-term use of Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 (made with LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® KK 50056 BK FR), hardened steel or ruby nozzles are recommended.
