Strong and abrasion-resistant
Spectrum PA6 Low Warp™ is an extremely strong engineering material based on polyamide 6, enriched with additives that reduce the high shrinkage associated with processing this type of material. Among the most important features characterizing the Spectrum PA6 Low Warp™ filament are: resistance to fuels and oils, high impact strength, and very good mechanical properties.
The improved cohesion of the Spectrum PA6 Low Warp™ material significantly reduces the "curling" effect, i.e. separation of the contact surface of the lower base of the manufactured part from the work table. A significant reduction of this negative effect is related to the low shrinkage during processing, which is 0.3%.
Ingredients that improve the properties of the material itself cause it to be self-lubricating, making it possible to use the manufactured parts in places where friction occurs.
In addition, the manufactured parts will have good electrical insulation properties and will also exhibit physiological inertness. From a technical standpoint, the highly attractive properties of the Spectrum PA6 Low Warp™ material can be achieved by adhering to the basic storage principles for this type of material (in a dry and dark place with humidity below 15%). To achieve the best properties of the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material before and during the work.
